There are two main goals we strive towards every day: delivering the best services in our fields and always ensuring our employees are given opportunities to learn and to grow. We encourage our team to step out of their comfort zones, to try new things and learn from their experiences. We constantly challenge our systems and processes, finding new ways to improve the experience for both our customers and staff. Our image and professionalism in the community is always at the forefront as we believe this is equally as important as the services we deliver.
Joel is one of our senior electricians who joined our team at the beginning of 2021. He has over ten years of experience in the electrical trade and a diverse skill set that allows him to handle various electrical jobs, from maintenance to commercial projects.
He often manages significant projects and is a favourite among our team and customers due to his positive attitude and approachable nature. Joel enjoys the variety of work in his job, the team culture, and being a mentor and trainer to our apprentices, striving to make work enjoyable while helping them become the best electricians they can be.
Joel was nominated as a finalist in the Electrician of the Year category at the Master Electricians 2023 Electrical Industry Excellence Awards.
Brock came on board in our first year of business as a work-experience high school student, then began his apprenticeship with us after finishing school. He was dedicated to learning and working hard to become a qualified tradesman, as well as get his licenses in air conditioning and communication.
Brock is a valued team member and an outstanding electrician who will roll his sleeves up for any job and always gives his absolute best. He sometimes completes 6-8 breakdowns or maintenance work daily, always finds and fixes the issue efficiently, and has excellent paperwork, setting a great example for our tradespeople and apprentices.
We've applauded Brock for his achievements with numerous internal business awards. But the most notable was his nomination as a finalist in the Electrician of the Year category at the Master Electricians Australia 2023 Electrical Industry Excellence Awards.
Rachel does an incredible job as our Office Manager and Quality Assurance Manager, and has played a vital role in the growth of Ehlerth Electrical since she joined us in 2018.
One of her proudest achievements is securing ISO certification for the business, which she now maintains as the Quality Assurance Manager.
Rachel handles a variety of office duties, such as ensuring compliance with quality processes and procedures, managing accounts, licenses, and insurances, and overseeing office administration and client relations. She also organises team meetings, social events, inductions, certifications, training, and courses for all employees.
As recognition of her achievements, Rachel has been nominated as a finalist in the Woman in Contracting category at the Master Electricians Industry Electrical Awards for the last three years running.
Laurence joined our team in 2017 after moving from Tasmania to Brisbane to start his electrical apprenticeship. He was among our first employees, alongside Jack.
Today, Laurence is a multi-skilled licensed electrician with experience in various electrical fields. He holds the Clean Energy Council accreditation, specialises in solar installations, repairs, and replacements, and leads all major domestic and commercial solar projects.
Laurence is a great team player and is well-known for his exceptional customer service skills. We consistently receive positive feedback about him from all our clients, which is a testament to his expertise and professionalism.
Laurence has been nominated as a finalist in the Electrician of the Year category at the Master Electricians 2024 Electrical Industry Excellence Awards.
Herewini is a licensed electrician who joined our team in 2022. His customer service skills are fantastic; it's common to receive a couple of phone calls a week from our customers about how great their interaction with him was. He also brings a great variety of skills and experience, making him very versatile in our business.
Matt is our Maintenance and Air-Conditioning Supervisor. His day can be anything from working on the tools to completing quotes or organising a job.
Matt has been with the team since the start of 2020 and from day one has smoothly slipped right into how we do things here at Ehlerth Electrical.
As an operations manager, qualified electrician, and certified solar designer and installer, Nathan has been a crucial part of our team since early 2018. He manages the business, team, and over 5,000 jobs annually.
Initially, Nathan started as a tradesman, but he quickly transitioned to assisting us in the office and took on more responsibility. He is excellent at overcoming any challenges that come our way to ensure the happiness of our team, clients, and customers. He is also passionate about growing the business and acquiring more projects in the renewable energy sector, like solar and EV charger installations.
Jared started his electrical apprenticeship with us in October 2021 as a qualified carpenter with 10 years of experience. These trade skills put him well in front of where an apprentice should be and are helping our team on many projects, from building supports to concreting. Jared has fitted into our team perfectly and plays a big part in driving our collaborative culture.
Mitch is an apprentice who joined us in early 2024 with a strong work ethic and previous experience in solar, electrical and air conditioning.
We are excited and committed to guiding him through his apprenticeship and beyond, helping him develop into a skilled tradesman.
James has over 10 years experience as an electrician. He is one of the all rounders who can complete work in all electrical fields, from domestic maintenance to larger commercial installations. James is very safety oriented and sets a great standard when working in the field. Our apprentices love working with him and we appreciate all the skills he is passing down.
Ethan is one of our electricians who received his electrical licence in early 2024.
Ethan started his apprenticeship with us in 2019 and has developed into a great electrician specialising in multiple electrical fields. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn have made him an asset to our team. He is committed to following best practices and ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.
Ethan was recognised for his achievements as a finalist in the 2023 Master Electricians Excellence Awards Apprentice of the Year category (3rd or 4th year).
Jack is our Senior Electrician who was nominated as a finalist in the Electrician of the Year (Tradie) category at the Master Electricians Australia 2022 Excellence Awards.
Jack started his apprenticeship at Ehlerth Electrical soon after it was established in 2017.
He has an incredible work ethic, always puts his hand up and has been a vital part of the business growth since the start. When it comes to natural disaster response and insurance-based work, Jack gets involved and is available to help anytime, often working 7 days a week during those periods.
The customer feedback is always positive, describing him as approachable, punctual, and a clear communicator who does a great job.
Brent is our Director who started Ehlerth Electrical in 2017 with a mission to create a people-focused electrical company that strives to provide the highest level of service to customers.
Brent has over 10 years electrical trade experience with specialties in commercial, industrial and hazardous area electrical projects.
He has worked on large-scale projects Australia-wide, as well as in Papua New Guinea and Dubai. Brent is just as passionate about creating a safe and progressive learning environment for his team, as he is delivering an excellent service for our customers.
Jackson is a licensed electrician who joined our team in early 2024. In his time with us, he has demonstrated excellent fault-finding skills and exceptional time-management abilities. He is very organised and likes to plan his jobs days in advance.
Jackson's skill set spans domestic and commercial electrical fields, making him a valuable asset to our company. His easygoing nature has also made him a great addition to the team.
Anselm is our second-year apprentice who has been nominated as a finalist in the (QLD South) Apprentice of the Year category (1st or 2nd year) at the Master Electricians 2024 Electrical Industry Excellence Awards!
Anselm joined our team in February 2022 as part of a school-based work experience program. After graduating, he transitioned seamlessly into his electrical apprenticeship with us. He is thrilled to work with the team and feels fortunate to have found a company where he could start from the beginning and have opportunities to progress in his career.
Anselm is friendly and approachable, and his outstanding communication and customer service skills make him a successful apprentice.
His most notable project to date was working with his mentor and senior electrician, Jack, to install 27 electric vehicle chargers, a 400-amp tee-off box, and a 250-amp EV switchboard in the Mike Ahern Centre building in Maroochydore on behalf of the QLD Government.
Kyle has joined our team in early 2024 as a trade assistant, while he works towards obtaining his electrical license in Queensland. With over seven years of experience as a qualified electrician in the UK, he has worked across all electrical fields, specialising in commercial and industrial.
Kyle has settled in well with our team and appreciates our culture and the support and work opportunities we provide.
Josh is an apprentice who got nominated as a finalist in the Apprentice of the Year category at the Master Electricians Australia 2022 Excellence Awards!
He started his apprenticeship after doing grade 12 work experience with us. He exhibits a skill set well beyond expectations and his great attention to detail will help him go a long way in his career as an electrician.
Josh is a great team player and enjoys all aspects of electrical work, particularly solar projects.
John has been with our team since early 2021. He is a well-rounded electrician who can handle any electrical issue that comes his way. Our customers regularly let us know how happy they are with his friendly and easy-going personality.
Jeron joined our team in August 2022. He is a qualified electrical tradesman with 10 years of experience. His focus is on general electrical maintenance and installation.
Tom is our 2nd-year apprentice who got nominated as a finalist in the Apprentice of the Year category at the Master Electricians Australia 2022 Electrical Industry Excellence Awards! Tom brought some valuable skills from his past job as a FIFO worker on a solar farm. With his plant operation licences, he can dig trenches on relevant jobs to help the team out. The team and the clients regularly commend his positive attitude and strong work ethic. He is always happy to stick his hand up to work overtime or do extra jobs.
Our team member Jemma has completed her apprenticeship with us in April 2024 and received her electrical license. She has also been nominated as a finalist in the (QLD South) Apprentice of the Year category (3rd or 4th year) at the Master Electricians 2024 Electrical Industry Excellence Awards.
Jemma's journey with us began in mid 2023 when she joined as a 3rd-year apprentice with a construction and customer service background.
She has gained experience in various electrical fields, showing great adaptability, organisational and customer service skills, and a passion for promoting women in the trade.
Dan is one of our Supervisors and Safety Officer who joined us in early 2018 as a second-year apprentice. He has taken every opportunity to progress his career within the business through continual training and development.
Dan works tirelessly behind the scenes on job management, client and customer service, safety audits and management, and safety training for the team and apprentices.
His master problem-solving skills, outstanding technical ability and commitment to safety have earned him the Electrician (Tradie) of the Year Award for South Queensland at the Master Electricians Australia Awards in 2022.
Sam is an electrical tradesman who joined us in October 2021 after moving from Sydney. Sam works on a variety of projects, such as construction jobs and installing EV car chargers, as well as managing commercial projects.
Kelsey is a third-year electrical apprentice who joined our team mid 2023. She's very dedicated to expanding her skills across multiple electrical fields and has really enjoyed learning all about air conditioning services. Her experience as a part-time firefighter has also brought a unique perspective to her role that we all greatly appreciate.
Kelsey's easygoing and friendly nature has made her a perfect fit for our team. We are proud to support and encourage her as she develops her career in the electrical industry.
Ruperto aka 'JR' has been with our team since 2017, putting together all our quotations and assisting with our electrical design work. Being an electrical engineer his skills have allowed us to respond quickly and precisely, when providing pricing and plans for our customers. He has played a key role in getting all of our major projects off the ground and has helped us grow to where we are today.
Luca is a 2nd year apprentice who enjoys all aspects of the electrical trade, especially the variety of work he does everyday. We are looking forward to watching Luca develop and become a great tradesman with the team.
