Ehlerth Electrical won the 2024 National Safety of the Year Award at the Master Electricians Australia Electrical Industry Excellence Awards on Saturday 3rd August, in Brisbane. The team was also named a finalist in seven categories for the South Queensland region.
The National Safety Award was added to the awards program two years ago to honour an individual or company demonstrating the qualities of a Master Electrician who prioritises safety every day.
This award was not open for submissions and was solely based on the judge's decision. Judges assessed safe work practices, attitude toward work, attention to detail, and safety philosophy as part of their selection criteria.
“Our commitment to safety is not just a one-time achievement but a daily dedication, demonstrated through our comprehensive audits, training, certifications, and systems,” said Brent Ehlerth, Director and Founder of Ehlerth Electrical.
“Every team member contributes to this effort, with special recognition to our supervisor and safety officer, Daniel, for his crucial role in managing safety in our business.
“I would also like to congratulate the team on receiving seven nominations for the South Queensland region this year. These achievements are a testament to the hard work, commitment to safety and quality, and excellent service we deliver daily,” said Brent.
